 Our pure plant skin care products are made here in the UK using naturally ingredients such as aromatherapy oils, vegetable oils and buffers which offer a viable natural alternative for nourishing your skin and maintaining a natural, radiant complexion.

 All products are paraben, sulphate and chemical free and have not been tested on animals.

 The ingredients are sourced from local farmers here wherever possible and are proud to say that organic farming covers a whole host of issues including strict standards for animal welfare, energy efficiency, sustainability, fair trade and of course strict guidelines as to how the soil is treated and the avoidance of chemical poisons such as pesticides and herbicides which are not only poisonous to us, but also the wildlife and the environment.

 The use of artificial preservatives, fragrances and colourants is prohibited. Instead the products are preserved with natural ingredients that pass the rigorous tests necessary for safety.

 Carrot Seed Extract – since carrot seed oil contains carotene and vitamin A, it is also very good for healthy skin, gums and teeth. Carrots are and always will be associated with good eyesight. Carrot seed essential oil is the best known for the care of dry or damaged skin and hair, dermatitis, eczema, rashes and even pre-cancerous skin conditions. Despite its carrot smell,it is used in some complexion creams to improve skin tone, elasticity and general skin health.
 Chickweed was used before citrus fruits as a source of vitamin C. It protects the skin against the damaging effects of free radicals. It is also used in the treatment of dry skin conditions including eczema and psoriasis.
 Cinnamon leaves and twigs contain a stimulating essential oil which is extracted by water or steam distillation, the oils helps to improve circulation and a the targeting of  fatty cellulitic deposits.
 Cypress oil is one of the top oils used in spa treatments since it has been recognised to boost circulation in the body, reduce cellulites and increase your body’s ability to retain fluid.

 Clary Sage can be used as a mild sedative and has anti-fungal and skin toning properties. Clary sage oil has great benefits for easing depression, nervous burn out and relieving congested complexions plus helps in a host of female complaints.
 Cocoa Butter melts when applied to the body (at body temperature) providing a soft velvety feel to balm and creams. It also contains a large number different antioxidants that act synergistically to present a massive offensive against the free radicals that destroy your skin cells and lead to premature ageing. Therefore, it is an ideal skin care product.
 Comfrey is renowned for its healing properties, helping to calm sores and wounds whilst at the same time fighting infection. In creams it can repair damage that has been caused by surgery, eczema or acne. It is an essential oil for healing preparations. It can be used in cream or lotion preparations for athletes to aid torn muscles and ligaments and for mature woman to assist in the treatment of osteoporosis.

The leaves have similar properties but weaker. The flowers are believed to be a sedative and are recommended for over activity and sleeplessness, particularly in children. Cowslip flowers have antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory properties which makes them potentially useful in the treatment of asthma and other allergic conditions.

A volume of research suggests that green tea may help to combat the mechanisms that play a role initiating skin cancer. Green tea is mostly used in anti-ageing skin care products safe guarding healthy cells with its anti-oxidants, while killing potential cancer cells.  Mango Fruit Extract– Mangos are a member of the cashew family and high in vitamin A, C and Betacaroten. The fruit extract prevents the skin drying  out and the formation of wrinkles by reducing degeneration of skin cells and restoring flexibility.
 Melon Fruit Extract is a great toner for the skin, cleansing and firming the pores. It also contains vitamin A, which benefits skin repair through increasing the rate fo new cell formation. Vitamin C is also a valuable property that acts as an anti-oxidant with wonderful proteins for smoother softer skin.
 Neroli from the fruit of the bitter orange tree is noted for it’s calming effect in aromatherapy. It also helps the blood circulate and may be helpful in the treatment of thread or spider veins. This ingredient is not only useful for all skin types, but helps in the treatment of broken capillaries  and veins under the skin’s surface, while at the same time stimulating cell and activity growth, which in turn leads to a clearer more rejuvenated skin.
 Nettle (maceration) is used as an extract and has soothing, anti-inflammatory and anti-allergenic properties. There are many benefits of nettle extract. Some of the uses that are in the treatment of anemia as the nettle leaves contain a lot of iron. it can also be very beneficial in the treatment of arthritis, rheumatism, asthma, benign prostrate and also helps to protect from hair loss (alopecia).
 Oatmeal – oats are an amazing natural beauty enhancer. They soothe and heal the skin, while reducing inflammation which is one of the causes of premature ageing.
 Passionfruit Extract – Passionflower has been renown for its calming, sedative action for more than 200 years. It contains vitamin E and trace minerals as well as an extraordinary high content of linoleic acid, one of the essential fatty acids that quickly absorbed by the skin and helps reduce water loss, thereby restoring elasticity
 Patchouli is predominantly used as a fragrance ingredient due to it’s head spicy scent. Parchouli Oil is used in natural skin care for tired,dry and ageing skin. It is warming and embracing but does not cause irritation so can be applied neat to cracked and inflamed skin
 Papaya Fruit Extract – Papaya is gently refreshing with a sweet summery fragrance. It contains vitamin A, a property that benefits skin repair through increasing the rare of new cell formation and vitamin C which is also an antioxidant with wonderful proteins for smoother, softer skin. It is excellent in stabilising oily skin and working on an exfoliant on dry areas. Papaya is also often used in skin products for the purpose of natural lift and regeneration of the skin.
 Peppermint has a wonderful cooling effect on the skin leaving it feeling fresh and revitalised. It can also be used to help combat bacterial infections and maladours due to its useful anti-bacterial properties.
 Pineapple fruit extract is rich in vitamin A ,C potassium, iron and calcium. Pineapple is rich in enzymes which help to remove dead cells and refresh the skin. It is perfect for any skin type. Pineapple contains the fruit enzyme called ‘bromelain’ which hydrolyzes proteins and digests dead cells on the surface of the skin. Bromelain is classed as a protein in cosmetics and functions as a skin conditioning and lytic agent. It is used to sooth sore or inflamed skin.
 Plum Fruit Extract – Plum kernel oil has the rich nutty fragrance and flavour of marzipan.Rich in oleic acid,gamma and alpha tocopherols and beta sitosterils, plum kernal oil makes a wonderful addition to facial products, including eye creams, serums and lip treatments. Plum kernal oil is rich in oleic acid, linoleic acid, vitamin E, vitamin B and beta-carotene.
 Pomegranate extract is particularly beneficial to mature skin. Pomegranate seed oil is high in antioxidants and if perfect for formulations aimed at balancing skin PH.revistalising ageing skin and restoring skin elasticity. It is also a key ingredient in our shampoo and conditioners, helping to bring new life to damaged hair.
 Raspberry Fruit Extract is rich in vitamin C and contains astringent qualities that cleanse the skin surface of oils and other substances. It is also ideal for around the eye area as it softly firms and repairs the skin.
 Rose is either used as an extract (macerated in jojoba oil over a period of 4 weeks) or as a pure essential oil. With its mild anaesthetic quality it helps to soothe irritated skin. The roses’ distinctive floral aroma gives the product a distinct aroma of luxury and quality.
 Rose Geranium has a distinctive rose scent and helps to rejuvenate dull and tired looking skin. It has long been used for it’s uplifting and balancing properties as it appears to assist in normalising hormonal levels and acts as a mild stimulate. Is is calming and relaxing making it a wonderful addition to skin care products.
 Rosehip is rich in anti-oxidant vitamin C. It also helps to increase collagen production leading to healthier younger skin.
 Rosemary leaf is a powerful tonic with an intense fragrance. It has stimulating properties which increase blood circulation and reduce pain and inflammation. It gives excellent relief from muscular pain and spasms caused by excessive physical activities. It can also be used on pulse points to relieve headache and tension.
 Sea Salt when used in the bath can help to relieve dry and itchy skin conditions as well as more serious conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.
 Shea Butter is a fabulously effective natural moisturiser packed with vitamins A & E and is indispensable for nourishing and soothing dry and inflamed skin. It is used in both skin and hair products to nourish and condition. It is quickly absorbed, non irritating and does not clog the pores. Makes and excellent body butter.
 St Johns Wort is a highlDary effective astringent and analgesic. It calms and soothes the skin especially dry and damaged skin when used in conjunction with chamomile and lavender.
 Strawberry Fruit Extract is rich in vitamin C and polyphenois. It provides protection for the skin, contains soothing properties and is a wonderful toner to reduce the appearance of pores.
 Dark Brown Sugar is used mainly for exfoliation. It is softer than the conventional granulated sugar and provides a gentle polish to the skin. It also has a deep malty fragrance which comes through in each product it is added to.
 Castor Sugar is used in some beauty products due to the fact that it has a more crystalline texture and is harder than brown sugar so provides a rougher top level sloughing off dead skin cells.
 Sweet orange with its characteristic citrus aroma, has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties and helps to calm inflammation.
 Seaweed stimulates and improves blood and lymph circulation, revitalizes and firms the skin whilst re-establishing natural moisture levels. It is known to nourish, oxygenate and detoxify the skin leading to the reduction in the appearance of cellulite. The benefits of seaweed on the skin include re-balancing, nourishing, hydrating, cell regenerating, detoxifying, purifying, oxygenating and re-mineralizing.
 Vanilla is a member of the orchid family. It is the pods not the flowers that are important with their timeless unique sweet aroma they are a popular additions to many products.
 Vetiver has a soft smoky,slightly woody aroma. It is also used in aromatherapy for its stimulating and tonic properties
 Yarrow (maceration) is similar to chamomile in the fact that it contains azulene, yarrow soothes skin irritation.
 Walnuts and walnut oil provide hefty levels of vitamins B1, B2 and B3 coupled with vitamin E and niacin. Certain phytonutrients and fatty acids in walnut oil can contribute to enhancing texture and quality of the skin.
 Ylang-ylang is a wonderfully evocative sweet floral essential oil which can also be used to help the skin regulate sebum production.
